Football conditioning is no longer about laps of the football field and sprints in lines. The last 20 years has seen sport science become crucial in the development of footballers and athletes in general. The FC blends science with practical coaching. Our approach is evidence based. Our approach is individual to each athlete. Our approach considers long term success not short term gains.

 

Speed and agility are the most important athletic qualities that the modern footballer needs. Speed can be taught, and yes there is a genetic ceiling that is different for each player, but our job is to help you become faster. Football sprints are very different to linear track sprints and require different knee lift at different times, it requires constant awareness, reaction, coordination, change of direction, acceleration and deceleration. All of these elements will be delivered in your programs in a manner that easy to learn and easy to practice.

 

Speed cannot be achieved without its supporting pillars. Strength, power and mobility are the other key elements that will be developed within our programs. Ultimately, we aim to develop a strong , quick and mobile athlete
